Description
The Mechanical Engineering Manager leads and develops a team of mechanical engineers working on semiconductor wafer-processing equipment. Responsibilities include overseeing team performance and talent development, planning capacity, contributing to the technical roadmap, conducting design reviews, managing engineering changes and escalations, handling obsolescence, and serving as the engineering interface with supply chain, production, and suppliers. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least six years of relevant engineering experience, and at least three years of people-management or technical leadership experience. The position is based in Villach, Austria, with hybrid work options.
