Description
The Mechanical Prototype Technician builds and tests engineering prototypes, assembles complex test fixtures, documents engineering records, evaluates electronic and mechanical components, and supports engineering staff under the direction of a mechanical engineer. The role requires United States citizenship, an associate degree or four years of related experience, at least four years of electromechanical or mechanical testing and analysis experience, proficiency with modern test equipment, and knowledge of 3D printing, machining, sheet metal, and plastic fabrication. The position is based in Pullman, Washington, and offers Technician II pay of $35–$52 per hour or Technician III pay of $40–$59 per hour, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
