TKMS is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Test Engineer to plan, manage, document, and coordinate verification tests for submarines on land and at sea. The role includes creating test plans and specifications, coordinating with test management and operational departments, serving as the customer and supplier contact during commissioning and testing, and ensuring timely, quality-compliant execution and documentation. Candidates need a degree or state-certified technician training in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, several years of experience commissioning and testing complex mechanical systems, English proficiency, organizational skills, and willingness to travel extensively.
