Ocean Park Mechanical is hiring an experienced Mechanical Estimator – Special Projects in Surrey, British Columbia. The role prepares bids for institutional and commercial mechanical tenders, especially tenant improvements, tilt-ups, hospitals, and schools; obtains subcontractor and supplier quotations, reviews bid documents, issues RFIs, maintains estimating software and cost data, completes piping quantity takeoffs, supports change-order estimating, and coordinates detailed project turnovers. Candidates need at least four years of mechanical estimating or combined estimating/project management experience, construction project experience, mechanical drawings expertise, estimating and modeling software proficiency, and strong costing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
