Lockheed Martin is hiring a Mechanical Field Engineer to support advanced aircraft systems development and operations and maintenance in the Santa Barbara area. The role involves deploying, preparing, maintaining, and redeploying program assets; analyzing and resolving mechanical system and subsystem discrepancies; documenting operational problems; communicating failure trends; and operating support equipment. The position requires field and aircraft maintenance experience, a TS clearance investigated within the last five years, an active Top Secret clearance, and willingness to travel to austere remote locations.
