Weir Minerals is hiring an experienced Mechanical Fitter in Townsville for an onsite role at its Service Centre/Rebuild Centre. The position focuses on stripping, maintaining, repairing, and reporting on customer pumps, supporting mine shutdowns, improving workshop and service processes, and implementing the Weir Production System. The job offers a Monday-to-Friday roster, overtime availability, provided uniforms/tools/PPE, and requires mechanical fitting experience, leadership/mentoring ability, a Cert III in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting & Turning, a forklift ticket, and a current driver’s license.
