SpaceX is hiring a Mechanical Integration & Test Engineer for Starshield to manage satellite integration builds and test operations, evaluate designs for manufacturability, coordinate with engineers and technicians, develop assembly procedures, and investigate non-conformances. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least one year of design or hands-on manufacturing experience, with additional propulsion, avionics, programming, and production experience preferred. The position may require travel, extended hours, physical work in tight spaces, and clearance-related testing, and offers a base salary of $100,000–$130,000 for Level 1 or $115,000–$160,000 for Level 2, plus medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
