Mechanical Intern Technician at IMEG

IMEG is hiring a Summer 2027 Mechanical Intern Technician in Germantown, Maryland for a paid 10–12 week, full-time, in-office internship. The intern will assist with mechanical systems design for vertical building projects, equipment research, project documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, design reviews, addenda, and job-site observations, supporting government/municipal and science-and-technology markets. Candidates must be pursuing an associate degree involving Autodesk Civil 3D or equivalent software tools or engineering, possess Microsoft Office, CAD, and BIM skills, communicate clearly, and meet the U.S. citizenship requirement for a federal contract. Prior building-design consulting internship experience is preferred.
