Global Cellulose Fibers is hiring a full-time Mechanical Maintenance Associate in New Bern, North Carolina, at $32.77 per hour for a day shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role assists journeymen-level mechanical maintenance craftsmen with routine maintenance and performs many duties independently, including pump and valve repair, rotating equipment, bearings, motors, cylinders, rigging, and industrial safety procedures. Candidates must be at least 18, eligible for employment in the United States, and have either one year of relevant maintenance experience or one year of vocational/technical education in a maintenance discipline.
