Description
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and direct unionized mill maintenance personnel and external contractors in a pulp and paper operation. The role focuses on maximizing production quality and equipment uptime, minimizing maintenance costs and unscheduled downtime, coordinating scheduled and preventative maintenance, supporting operations and planners, promoting continuous improvement, and monitoring team performance. Candidates need a Red Seal trade certificate, mechanical engineering diploma or degree, or at least two years supervising trades in a unionized industrial environment, along with communication, organizational, MS Office, and CMMS skills. The position offers a $90,000–$100,000 salary plus bonus and benefits.
