Veolia’s AIGÜES DE BARCELONA is hiring a Mechanical Operator for a wastewater treatment plant in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area on a permanent contract. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, conveyor screws, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical components; repair and replacement of defective parts; fabrication work; safe load-lifting; equipment inspection; recordkeeping; and technical support. Candidates need vocational training in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics, at least five years of professional experience in those fields, a Category B driver’s license, and Catalan and Spanish language skills.
