Description
The Mechanical Piping Designer develops coordinated mechanical piping models, shop drawings, spool assemblies, and fabrication documents; coordinates piping with architectural, structural, ductwork, equipment, and other trades; communicates with project managers, engineers, and field foremen; and supports as-built documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of mechanical piping trade or design experience, AutoCAD 2014 or higher, and 3-D drafting-package experience. Autodesk Fabrication CADmep experience, drafting education, and the ability to visualize three-dimensional layouts are preferred.
