Description
Amazon is hiring a Mechanical Process Engineer to develop mechanical part manufacturing, decoration, and sub-assembly processes; provide design and DFM recommendations; drive supplier process capability and technical issue resolution; manage engineering documentation and technical risks; and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, experience with metal or plastic parts, volume production, supplier engagement, and familiarity with mechanical design, tooling, statistics, and Pro/Engineer. Mandarin fluency, Minitab, Six Sigma, and agile product development experience are preferred. The role involves domestic and international travel to supplier sites.
