OPEX Corporation is hiring a full-time Mechanical Product Development Engineer at its World Headquarters in Moorestown, New Jersey. The role develops and productizes highly integrated, software-controlled electro-mechanical automation equipment and processes for mail processing and document imaging. Responsibilities include architecting products, leading production-level mechanical design, developing prototypes, conducting design-confirmation and reliability testing, collaborating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, service teams, and vendors, and delivering manufacturing documentation. The position requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least five years of hands-on electro-mechanical product or equipment design experience, and solid modeling experience; it is primarily office-based with four days per week in the office and occasional customer travel.
