D-Wave is hiring a Mechanical Production Technician II to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and integrate mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for quantum computing systems. The role includes gas-handling and vacuum hardware, tubing and valve installation, pressure and helium leak testing, jigs and fixtures, production documentation, and continuous improvement. Candidates need a mechanical engineering technology diploma or equivalent education and experience, at least three years of complex mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience, and familiarity with tubing, gas, vacuum, pressure systems, soldering, crimping, and mechanical troubleshooting. The position is based in Burnaby and offers CAD 104,000–143,000 per year.
