Description
The Software Engineer supports the transformer control group and Goldsboro Engineering Tools Team by automating and validating CAD workflows, developing auxiliary applications, databases, and PTC Creo Parametric extensions. The role requires computer science or equivalent low-level programming experience, proficiency in C, C++, and C#, strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical modeling, and knowledge of XML and databases. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of CAD extension software experience, Git and Subversion, and manufacturing experience. The position is based in a shop-floor and office environment on a large manufacturing campus.
