Description

Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) delegate for the Gas Generator (GG) within the Boost Control System (BCS) IPT. The role manages hardware components, develops technical solutions, and may lead a component through qualification, production, service support, and aging. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Navy partner, Lockheed Martin leadership, and suppliers, while requiring mechanical design, engineering lifecycle, and related aerospace or propulsion knowledge. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: Experience interpreting complex mechanical design models and drawings
Exposure to engineering project management, propulsion, rocketry, aerodynamics, mechanisms, and/or fluids
Preferred Qualifications: Missile, rocket, or aerospace-related education or experience
Experience with CAD and hardware modeling tools such as SolidWorks, CREO, or Matlab
Experience in gas or fluid dynamics, energetics, or propellants
Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and initiative
