Black & McDonald is hiring a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector for its Power Generation team, based in Pickering and reporting to the QC Manager. The role performs receipt, in-process, and final inspections and tests; documents inspection and test activities; supports quality management systems; coordinates with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities; and controls nonconforming items. Candidates need at least two years of college education or a technical-related university degree, 10 years of construction trades experience, and 5 years of QA/QC experience, including nonconformance control, corrective action, and inspection and test plan generation. Nuclear industry experience is an asset, and the role requires applicable welding or other recognized certification, code knowledge, communication skills, computer literacy, flexibility for project work, and OPG security clearance. The expected salary is $55.00 to $69.00 per hour, with company-paid health and dental benefits.
