ALTEN is hiring a Mechanical Analysis Engineer to model and mechanically substantiate structures and equipment for aerospace, space, and defense projects. The role involves creating finite element models, meshing structures, performing linear and nonlinear static, dynamic, vibration, and fatigue analyses, interpreting simulation results, proposing design optimizations, and preparing calculation reports. Candidates need an engineering degree or equivalent with initial structural analysis experience, at least one year of significant mechanical structural analysis experience, FEM tool knowledge, and strong structural mechanics and nonlinear analysis skills.
