Description

Blue Origin is seeking a mechanical/structural engineer to support the development and operations of the New Glenn launch vehicle’s Stage 1 Tank structures. The role owns the full design cycle for structure components—from conceptual and detailed design through analysis, build, development testing, qualification, and engineering release—while supporting procurement, integrated testing, non-conformance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, fluids, systems, and materials teams. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, strong structural/mechanical fundamentals, CAD and PDM proficiency, and experience with large primary or secondary structures and metallic manufacturing methods. The position is based on-site with 0%–20% travel to suppliers and a Florida manufacturing facility, and includes salary information for Washington applicants plus standard benefits.
