Description
The Mechanical Engineer, Construction role supervises construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for medium- and large-scale mining projects. Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, monitoring progress and technical compliance, managing deviations and punch-list items, verifying engineering drawings, and supporting quality control and corrective actions. The role requires a licensed mechanical or electrical mechanical engineering qualification, at least five years of relevant construction experience, two years of commissioning and start-up experience, three years in mining, and residence in Arequipa.
