Description
The Mechanical Technician maintains and repairs industrial mechanical equipment, including centrifugal pumps, electric motors, valves, air compressors, reciprocating engines, and gas-fired engine-driven compressors. The role performs preventive and remedial maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, equipment installation and alignment, regulatory documentation, emergency response, contractor supervision, and peer training. It requires at least a high school diploma or GED, three years of mechanical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, reciprocating-engine repair experience, a driver's license, basic computer and communication skills, and availability for a rotating 14-days-on/14-days-off schedule in company-provided housing.
