Mechanical Technician at Wood

Wood is hiring an experienced Mechanical Technician for a Romanian offshore gas infrastructure project on a 21/21 rotation for at least six months. The role supports well clean-up, gas-plant back-gassing, export-pipeline commissioning, hydrocarbon transfer, mechanical and rotating equipment operation, start-up activities, and ongoing production. Responsibilities include managing mechanical permits, shift handovers, equipment troubleshooting, risk assessments, toolbox talks, emergency response, and HSE compliance. Candidates need offshore safety certifications, a valid offshore medical certificate, and expertise with offshore mechanical and rotating equipment; an engineering degree and North Sea experience are desirable.
