Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Mechanical Technician III to support the fabrication, assembly, installation, commissioning, testing, operation, and maintenance of Neutron launch-vehicle and ground-system mechanical assets. The role focuses on fluid-system fabrication, launch-pad systems, troubleshooting, and leading up to three to five technicians during vehicle integration. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of aerospace, industrial, or relevant experience, and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid components, and large-structure assembly. The position is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with collaboration across Auckland, Long Beach, California, and Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, and offers a base pay range of $30–$36 USD for Virginia-only applicants.
