Description
Orbital Industries is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to build, commission, operate, and maintain mechanical test rigs for Direct-to-Chip platforms. The role includes running 3D printers, CNC machines, and workshop tooling; creating CAD parts, jigs, and fixtures; assembling mechanical and low-voltage electrical systems; performing leak checks, function testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting; and managing rig components and suppliers. The position requires hands-on experience with 3D printing, CNC, and workshop tooling, mechanical and electrical assembly, and a background in prototype, R&D, or low-volume build environments.
