Description
Smartrend Manufacturing Group (SMG) Inc. is hiring a hands-on Mechanical Test Engineer to coordinate and complete product testing and validation for product development, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. The role involves building and modifying prototypes and fixtures, operating specialized laboratory equipment, executing verification tests, analyzing results, preparing reports, coordinating with external laboratories and suppliers, and supporting cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities. The position requires a mechanical engineering or technology diploma/degree, preferably 5–7 years of relevant experience, practical prototyping and testing expertise, fabrication and tooling skills, CAD knowledge, and strong organization and communication abilities.
