AWS is hiring a Mechanical/Thermal Engineer to design and develop thermal and mechanical systems for enterprise compute and storage servers and server racks. The role covers systems integration, CAD and thermal simulation, failure analysis, cross-disciplinary design, overseas resource coordination, and mentorship of mechanical/thermal design engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and seven years of experience in thermal and mechanical server design; a master's degree is preferred. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.
