AWS is hiring a Mechanical/Thermal/Reliability Engineer to design rack subsystems and associated server components, validate them against new-product-introduction requirements, conduct failure analysis, collaborate with hardware and software teams, manage overseas resources, and mentor mechanical and thermal design engineers. The role requires experience with server technologies, compute and storage server architecture, mechanical design, and systems integration, along with CAD and thermal simulation skills. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.
