Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Mechatronics and Process Controls Engineer in Bangalore to design, develop, validate, and optimize control algorithms for temperature, pressure, flow, and vacuum systems used in semiconductor equipment and advanced industrial automation. The role involves dynamic modeling, system identification, PID and advanced process control tuning, instrumentation integration, troubleshooting, laboratory testing, data-driven diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 5–8 years of process controls or semiconductor equipment experience, and proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent tools.
