Description
Amazon is hiring a permanent, full-time Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice in Greenwood, Indiana. The role combines electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation engineering skills through on-the-job learning, with responsibilities including preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of robotics and material-handling equipment, and maintaining equipment availability. The apprentice will be paired with journey workers, complete a 9-week training program, and be flexible to relocate after the program. A high school diploma, PC software experience, vocational or technical training or an associate degree or above, Amazon RME experience, troubleshooting experience, mathematical knowledge, measurement-reading ability, and flexible scheduling are required; military experience, predictive maintenance, material-handling troubleshooting, safety-implementation, blueprint, and electrical-schematic experience are preferred. Starting pay is 27.90–29.40 USD per hour, with additional shift differentials and overtime possible.
