Ford is hiring a Mechatronics Application Engineer to lead cross-domain integration of mechatronic subsystems such as closures, windows, seats, climate, and access systems across active vehicle programs. The role applies enterprise engineering frameworks to vehicle launches, coordinates mechanical, electrical, and software requirements, develops subsystem boundary and electrical diagrams, manages build-issue triage, aligns Agile software and Waterfall hardware timelines, and owns subsystem integration readiness and launch commitments. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, 5+ years of product or systems delivery experience, and 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration; it is hybrid with onsite work four or more days per week and offers a base salary range of $84,480 to $162,120.
