Description
Ford is hiring a Core Architect to serve as the senior technical lead and primary authority for mechatronic feature definition from concept through logical requirements handoff, cross-validation, system and subsystem sign-off, and physical prototype direction. The role owns stakeholder and use-case elicitation, system architecture, functional safety and DFMEA analysis, requirements traceability, requirements validation, and coordination with modeling and testing engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least five years of automotive or related systems engineering experience, expertise in functional safety and DFMEA, and proficiency with SysML and CATIA V6. The position is hybrid, offers a base salary of $84,600 to $166,200, and does not provide visa sponsorship.
