Description
Three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship at WEPA for a mechatronics technician. The trainee learns and applies mechanical engineering, electronics, and information technology; installs, programs, maintains, and troubleshoots complex power-plant systems; and develops skills through a training workshop, vocational school, and practical work. The program starts on 1 August 2027, offers 30 vacation days and a 38-hour week, and provides apprenticeship remuneration under the Rhine-Westphalia paper industry collective agreement, with prospects for long-term employment after successful completion.
