Description
WEPA is seeking an apprentice Mechatronics Technician to begin on 1 August 2027 in a 3.5-year apprenticeship. The role combines mechanical engineering, electronics, and information technology, with training in installing, programming, maintaining, networking, and troubleshooting complex mechatronic systems in a power plant. The first year includes practical and theoretical instruction in a joint training workshop and vocational school, followed by hands-on work at the power plant. Applicants need at least a Realschulabschluss or higher school-leaving certificate, an interest in modern machines and technology, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn. Successful apprentices may be offered long-term employment at WEPA.
