Description
Nicolay GmbH is hiring a Mechatronics Technician to independently repair and maintain production equipment and infrastructure, assist with repairs, conversions, and new installations, troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems, support operating facilities, coordinate external service providers, perform occasional plant maintenance in Romania, and participate in on-call duty and continuous improvement. The role requires vocational training in mechatronics or a comparable qualification, plant-operation or maintenance experience, drive and control engineering expertise, electrical control-cabinet construction, and knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, and PLC and IPC programming. The position offers performance-based compensation under the metal and electrical industry collective agreement and additional benefits.
