Description
The Med Tech provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents in a community, administers prescribed medications within the established scope of practice, responds to resident calls and emergencies, supports activity programs, maintains medication carts and documentation, and performs housekeeping duties. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide Course, current CNA and Med Tech licenses, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. The position pays $22-$23 per hour and offers full-time and part-time benefits, training, development, and career laddering.
