Description
The Med Tech provides quality care and medication administration to residents and their families under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Responsibilities include administering or assisting with self-administration of prescribed medications, maintaining medical records, following care plans and physician orders, documenting resident status changes, and maintaining resident privacy and dignity. The role requires Medication Technician training, HIPAA knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of experience working with seniors in a personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care setting. It is a non-exempt hourly position covering weekends, with available shifts from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and pays $24.00–$25.00 per hour.
