Description
The Med Tech provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents in a community, administers prescribed medications within the established scope of practice, responds to resident calls and emergencies, supports activity programs, maintains medication records and carts, and communicates resident status and needs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide Course, current CNA and Med Tech licenses, annual medication administration observations and education, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
