NBCUniversal Media Operations is hiring a Media Operations Technician to support the end-to-end digital media supply chain in a 24/7 environment. The role performs quality control, ingest, transcoding, editing, segmentation, metadata management, and troubleshooting for broadcast, cable, streaming, international, and digital media assets. It is a hybrid position based in Stamford, Connecticut, requiring at least three days per week in the office and availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. The position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance and a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma, relevant certification, or associate's degree in Media or Communications; equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post-production is also accepted.
Required Previous Experiences: 2-5 years of experience in a multi-channel broadcast facility performing content preparation and quality control.
Professional experience with SD and HD tape decks and file formats and specifications.
Prior experience using Media Asset Management and centralized workflow software.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in production, post-production, broadcast, or communications.
At least 2 years of experience using computers and software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience in international broadcast operations or media, especially in quality control.
Experience in a fast-paced, quick-turn, or live broadcast environment.
Fluency or intermediate understanding of other languages.
Understanding of international file standards and frame rates.
Intermediate understanding of audio and video signal flow, waveform monitors, vector scopes, patch bays, and routing systems.
