Northwell Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for Nuvance Health Medical Practice's Norwalk Primary Care West in Norwalk, Connecticut. The role provides clinical and clerical support, including patient intake, vital signs, medication and allergy verification, electronic medical record updates, chart preparation, examination-room preparation, in-office testing, specimen processing, inventory maintenance, and support for procedures. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with variable eight-hour shifts. Applicants may be new or experienced Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, or Emergency Medical Technicians; a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience are required, with CPR certification and bilingual ability preferred.
