Description
The Medical Assistant role requires at least one year of experience and one of several listed licenses or certifications, including Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic. BLS is required for all applicants, and the role requires HIPAA/OSHA compliance, computer and typing proficiency, EMR proficiency, strong communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Bilingual ability and knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines and medical terminology are preferred.
