CloseKnit is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for an in-person clinical environment in Arlington, Virginia. The role combines clinical duties such as patient intake, vitals, injections, venipuncture, point-of-care testing, EKGs, specimen preparation, and patient education with administrative duties including registration, insurance verification, EHR updates, appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, and inventory management. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, accredited medical assistant training, current CCMA/CMA/RMA certification, current BLS or CPR certification, at least two years of medical assistant experience, and EMR experience.
