CloseKnit is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for an in-person clinical environment in Seven Corners, Virginia. The role combines clinical duties such as patient intake, vitals, injections, venipuncture, EKGs, specimen collection, and patient education with administrative duties including registration, insurance verification, EHR updates, appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, and inventory management. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, accredited medical assistant training, current CCMA/CMA/RMA certification, current BLS or CPR certification, at least two years of medical assistant experience, and EMR experience. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with possible weekend, evening, holiday, and multi-location coverage. Compensation is $21-$25 per hour, with health, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
