CloseKnit is hiring a full-time, in-person Medical Assistant to support clinicians and practice operations across Germantown, Rockville, and Montgomery Village. The role combines clinical duties such as patient intake, vitals, injections, venipuncture, EKGs, and specimen collection with administrative work including registration, insurance verification, EHR updates, scheduling, and prior authorizations. The position is a float role requiring travel between nearby practices, with a mostly Monday-Friday schedule and possible weekend shifts. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, accredited medical assistant training, current CCMA/CMA/RMA certification, bilingual Spanish/English ability, at least two years of medical assistant experience, and EMR experience. Compensation is $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
