Description
The Medical Assistant 2 reports to the Supervisor, Central Administration and provides onsite patient care and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support work. Responsibilities include discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, performing phlebotomy and diagnostic screening, sterilizing equipment, maintaining examination rooms, documenting in electronic medical records, and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers. The role requires successful completion of an MA training program or certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification; phlebotomy, medication administration, MA experience, value-based care knowledge, and bilingual English-Spanish proficiency are preferred. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and pays $43,000-$56,200 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, disability, life insurance, and other benefits.
