Description
The Patient Specialist is an onsite medical assistant role focused on preparing patients before they see a doctor. Responsibilities include intake and clinical rooming, medication and allergy verification, patient history documentation, validated screenings, EMR inbox and worklist management, and patient-loop-back education. The role requires BLS certification or in-progress certification, MA training or at least three years of experience, United States work authorization, and assigned clinic hours. It is a full-time 40-hour position with a stated base pay range of $43,000 to $56,200 per year and eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
