Description
The Medical Assistant performs administrative and clinical duties in a medical office, including patient registration and scheduling, supply inventory, clinical supply ordering, quality-assurance documentation, patient eligibility screening, call screening, electronic health record entry, vital-signs collection, triage, and provider assistance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of clerical or billing experience in a medical office, familiarity with medical equipment, and current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification; CMA, RMA, or AAMA certification is preferred.
