Description
The Medical Assistant supports physicians, physician extenders, and patients in an orthopedic clinic by directing patients, preparing examination and treatment rooms, collecting specimens, sterilizing instruments, assisting with procedures, measuring vital signs, recording patient information, administering injections and treatments, performing routine laboratory tests, applying casts and splints, fitting orthopedic bracing and durable medical equipment, instructing patients, and responding to clinical inquiries.
