Description
The Medical Assistant supports providers with patient evaluation, examination, treatment, follow-up, triage, scheduling, referrals, medication refills, procedures, laboratory and point-of-service testing, injections, and emergency procedures. The role also handles patient communications, exam-room sanitation, equipment calibration, and maintains HIPAA compliance. It reports to the Office Manager and Practice Manager and requires two years of Medical Assistant experience in family practice or specialty, CPR certification, and the ability to work in a clinical office environment.
