Northwell Health/Nuvance Health Med Practice PC is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for its medical oncology practice at the Dyson Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. The role provides clinical and clerical support, including patient intake and rooming, vital signs, specimen collection and processing, bloodwork, in-office testing, EMR and patient-record updates, chart preparation, follow-up communication, equipment and supply maintenance, and support for daily patient flow. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED plus qualifying medical assistant, nursing assistant, EMT, or medical-office experience; BLS certification is required within 30 days. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred, and travel between practices may be required.
